DO problem in IM 153-1

wong_arif Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Dear Siemens Experts, Our system is s7-400 and connect remote I/O with IM 153-1. We often have problem with DO (6ES7-322-1BH01-0AA0) in IM 153-1, Our DO light green but there isn't 24 voltage. After we turn Off and Turn On power in main panel, DO generate 24V if it's led light green. DO back to nornal . What is the root cause of our problem? Why we have to turn off and turn on main panel in order to get normal DO? Regards

You can also use sfc51 to read dignostics data of IM. 2. Check CPU properties for message time and IM properties. 3. Repalce the DO module with diffrent MLFB no. See result. 4.Connect the same setup outside the panel. Connect cpu, im and do with 24V supply and check results.

Regards Hello, I do recommend you to contact your nearest Siemens representitive in order to come to you and investigate what's wrong with your power feeding of this module. Hope this helps.

Regards Hello, If your DO is green but you don't get 24 V out then check 24 v supply at Power module.and also check that M point of 24v should take from same power supply u use for IM 152-1. Now If everything is ok then check no. of DO and AO used after one Power Module. If No of module increase the rated value than you need to add other Power module in between.It will solve your problem. Hope it will help you. Best Regards

We investigated & found that it was due to vibration produced when one of motors at plant was switched on Check if there are any vibrations.
