F40 fault Simotras HD

rkparida Posts: 26 Rating: (2)	RajendraG Dear All, I have commissined one Simotras HD drive for hoisting application on EOT crane. After commissioning it observed that drive is tripping in F40. I know that F40 occurs only ifelectronic power is switched off without resetting the last fault. But after power is swiched on I amd not able to see fault number in parameter r947 or r949. In parameter r947 index 9,17, 25, 33 ,41, 49 shows value of 40. Other index shows 0. In parameter r949 all index shows 0. So i am not able to get axact reson for F40. MLFB is 6SG7080 - OEB60-0. Serial no is Q6T90846320003. Motor detail is as following. Stator voltage 415v ac. Stator current 340A Please find the attached file for parameter back up of drive. Please reply at erliest. F040 Fault only activated when Limit switch is activated which is connected on terminal 77 & 78.Pls. guide me solve the issue.

MyoThant.Aung Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Hi, Would like to know how is the status of the problem now? We have same problem too. Following is our problem and solution, may be same to you. 1. Power shut down for the crane system.(include all the control supply, equipment supply) 2. Drive is sensing some input signals and those signals are lost before drive control supply down.(drive CU is stay operating for few mili second) 3. Drive detect the fault(signal lost from external control), before CU is totally down. 4. Due to this, F40 will occur when the drive power suppy is resumed. 5. We impliment a parameter, which is power on pulse to reset all the faults in initialization state, when the drive power resume. (i.e. P665=9050 power on pulse) 6. problem solve. Hope this would help.
