When I ping, the computure device is reacing. What could be this problem? best regards (I can also login to the device.) What also comes to my mind: Did you maybe disable autostart for ssh? You can check (on the IOT2050) with iot2050setup -> Software -> Manage Autostart options and see whether the checkbox of ssh is set. Best regards!

Did you enable the firewall during first-commissioning? If yes, you would need to add a rule to have the port 22 (ssh) open. You can use the command mel-setup -> Firewall Best regards!

You can issue the command fw_printenv boot_targets to check the boot order. If you want to use your SD card, use fw_setenv boot_targets "mmc0 mmc1 usb0 usb1 usb2" to set SD card as first boot device. I can't really say, why you can't connect to this running image.. Seems that everything looks like it should work. Best regards!

I can only connect via serial port with Uart cable. My main problem was that I couldn't connect to the iot2050 device using IP. Is there any way to solve this copy operation by connecting from serial port? or how can I do factory reset the iot2050's eMMC memory? maybe it will help if I reconfigure it. Best regards

I totally forgot about your UART cable somehow - probably mixed with another topic, sorry. You can also change the boot-order via UART cable. Connect via UART Power on the IOT2050 Interrupt boot by pressing any button change boot order: setenv boot_targets "mmc0 mmc1 usb0 usb1 usb2" save boort order: saveenv boot: boot This prodecure is also described in the PDF in this post, chapter 3.3.3 After that the IOT2050 should boot from your SD card with Example Image. Please check whether you can access the Example Image via 192.168.200.1 after this procedure. If so then we can talk about the next steps to re-install eMMc. Best regards!

Now you could delete the eMMc with the following command: mkfs.ext4 /dev/mmcblk1 Are you fine with running the Example Image or do you want to run it or the Industrial OS on the internal eMMc? I would also recommend to update the firmware and use the latest Example Image V1.2.2 or Industrial OS V3.2.2. Best regards!

What I want to do is to communicate the PLC with the iot2050 and monitor the data remotely. (It would be great if there is a document about the communication between siemens 1200 series plc and iot2050.) So I don't know if it is better to run the Example image or run the industrial OS. You can either go with the V1.1.1 or update the firmware and using V1.2.2 (recommended). The easiest way to achieve your goal is using Node-Red for that. Here we have an example, you can use the S7 node for the connection to the S7-1200. Best regards!
