Hi All,

I am retrieving old project from TIA Portal v 15.1 to TIA v 18, it shows an error related to the GSD files (attached), I've downloaded and installed as many GSD files related to the missing drives as I could find but still showing the same error every time I try to open the project.

Did anyone come across similar issue before?

That is not a GSD you're missing, it's Startdrive.

If you open a project in TIA, and you don't have the GSD/GSDML in your PC, it will be installed when you open the project. You don't need to download them. They are in the project files.

 What Startdrive versions do you have installed on your PC?

I don't have StartDrive on my PC, the drive will be supplied and configured by a vendor.

 The project has something inside that needs Startdrive. So if you want to open the project, you need to install startdrive.
