I suggest two other options with less overhead and stress of get/put on your 410 if the skid is very large, assuming supervisory control from PCS7 AS is not required and you just want the skids on the HMI screens:

1. Direct manual integration of the 1500 into WinCC via S7-1200/1500 driver OMS+ or even classic S7 TCP/IP if you are not using optimized DBs. Just add the driver under tag management and configure tags and alarms and graphics like you would in WinCC without PCS7.  Of course, these are not part of the PCS7 config and you have to do it all manually.

2. Use the additional package PCS7 OPEN OS (or perhaps even OPEN OS with MTP if you are lucky to have an MTP package unit) to integrate into PCS7 natively through DBA.  OPEN OS allows the creation of block icons that can be completely APL analogous to give same look and feel.

Caveat for using OMS+ is your (PCS7) WinCC version needs to be new enough, hopefully you aren't on legacy version.  If you are, suggest you do your version upgrade to provide support for this integration.

Can you help me in my situation?

I used PCS7 v.9.1.

My project based on the CPU S7 410-5H: 6ES7 410-5HX08-0AB0.

At the one of the PN ports I have PN network.

IE/PB LINK HA gateway 6GK1 411-5BB00 is connected to this network.

Among of other DP slaves in the DP network of the IE/PB LINK I’m trying to integrate ET200SP CPU 1510SP-1 PN 6ES7 510-1DJ01-0AB0 as DP slave by GSD file.

I found GSD file by the link:

I used GSD file forStation type:ET 200SP CPU + CM DP moduleas my situation isOrder no.:6ES7 510-1D*-0AB0 +6ES7 545-5DA00-0AB0

GSD file was integrated to PCS7 project successfully. I set I and Q area for DP slave.

After this, I created project in the TIA Portal v16 for ET200SP CPU 1510SP-1 PN and CM DP module.

For the CM DP module I set the settings:

1. Operating mode: DP slave
2. I and Q data as in the PCS7 project.

DP master for CM DP module remains not assigned.

After all this I downloaded PCS7 and TIA projects to CPUs.

In the PCS7 project In the Hardware in online mode ET200SP CPU is not available for CPU S7 410 5H as DP slave.

But in the application “NCM S7 Diagnostic” ET200SP CPU is available as node with his private PB address in the section “Nodes”, but in the section “DP master” ET200SP CPU is not available as DP salve and has marked as with bad configuration.

In the TIA project in online diagnostic I see Error message: “IO Device failure” Event ID: 16# 02:39CB.

So where I’m wrong, what’s settings not made by me?

1. Is it enough to configure ET200SP CPU for connect to DP master of other project (S7 410-5H and IE/PB Link in PCS7)?

2. Should I set DP master for CM DP module or it’s could be “not assigned”?

3. Should I set diagnostical address for CM DP module same as in the PCS7 project for DP slave, also about Network ID?

4. Or I must to create in the TIA project additional IE/PB link (and maybe CPU S7 410-5H) with same settings for that's CM DP module could know who is DP master?

    And after this to create MS data exchange between ET200SP CPU and IE/PB link?
