Reading an analog value

bobo13 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi there, I am trying to monitor an "analog" value coming into a 115U controller. The value comes from an encoder through a comms port (hence it's not an IW or a PIW). What sort of variables shouldI look for? To make things worse, the comments of the programm are poor to say the least... Thanks.

Usually a Function Block or FB is used to read analog values.Thereaddatalocationmaybea Dataword (DW)ora Flagword (FW)area, depending on the application program.
