I am writing a function (FC) in SCL (SIMATIC v5.6) to move data from one DB to another.

I am using the AT instruction and I build the ANY pointer in order to call the BLKMOV instruction.

Since I also read and write some parts of the destination DB in the FC block I also declared an INOUT as an UDT and I will connect this destination DB to the input of my FC.

When declaring the ANY pointer I have to write the DB number which I will be copying data to.

Is there a way to find out the DB number from the INOUT variable or do I need an additional input where the user specifically declares the DB number? Are there any examples? I could not find anything in this forum or on the internet.
