Thanks all for information! Just one more tricky question. Demo is free. Demo is separate. Does that mean that I can share the downloaded demo file with others (a group of students for example) or this action could be considered illegal and everyone must register and download the same file individually? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hi Aivars, In this case, it would be wise for everyone to register to individually download the software available in SIOS. This is done because when you register with SIOS, Germany checks each user individually to evaluate their origin. That said, you could share the program with other people because when you download it, you can do with it whatever you want and you are always responsible for the use that other people make of it. The only thing, as you know, with the demo you will not be able to load the LOGOS! you will only be able to play with it. Best regards!

Hi Aivars, As qwazee commented, I think you should discuss this point with Siemens to clarify the point you specify in the screenshot. In the end, when you download the software from the SIOS page, you must have a registered account that has been approved by Siemens. The demo is ultimately just a demonstration software but it does not have all the functionalities that the full software has. I doubt the legality of selling this software and distributing it. But it can be downloaded from SIOS by anyone who registers and has an account with Siemens. |
