Hello Experts,

I am having serious issues with our masterdrive with part number: 6SE0722-1EP50-Z ac/ac.  The masterdrive is connected to 16 micromaster drives via profibus and CPU is 315-2dp. The first challenge is we cannot conect to drive monitor using a standard MPI cable.

More importantly, an F082 was flashing with A084 coming up intermittently. After going through past experiences on this forum, I observed some values for  P554 - P564 were not 1 as required. We also observed the value for P558 was 3102.

We decided to change those values to 1 and the status changed to 009 but the major motor for the mill is not working when started from HMI.

Please Help!!!!

To connect drive monitor with PC to masterdrive, does not require MPI cable. Standard RS232 cable connects PC with drive monitor to masterdrive. Please refer attached sheet.

P558 is source for activation of OFF3 command. In your case check B3102.

F082 is communication failure. Check r0949 where you will find fault code value. Please check the connections & tight at profibus connectors.

 Thanks! for the P558, After changing it to 1, the status changed to 009. B3102?? How do i check this? Please throw more light on the B3102.

Please refer FD 8513 (Is attached here with for ready reference), control word 1 bit 2 is for OFF3. It is controlled via P558. This is operated by CB data word 1 bit 2 i.e. B3102. So need to check this if it is 0 it means quick stop command is applied to drive.

You need to connect drive monitor to check the status of Control word 1 or can check on PMU at r550.
