Let's start with standart way: Your PLC is connected to the drive via profibus. Easier because here has example. Connection of Masterdrives to Profibus-DP . Look at this example and you'll see how can control this drive. In this way PLC will start and stop the drive, but you can organized logic in your way, for example - you have one start and stop button on pulpit Nr.1 , and aslo has start and stop button on pulpit Nr.2 , which buttons are connected to the PLC. In this way inside in program you can assign how drive will react. Other way: Use 2 stop and 2 start buttons connected in paralel connected directly to Digital Input. And in drive parameters must assign P554 to B0010. More see in manual (page 511). In this case using a PLC is not necessery. Just the systems goes more expensive.
