I have a TP177B Simatic panel that will not power up. I have a backup file and another TP177B panel from another machine that is no longer in service. I'm trying to figure out how to download over the existing program with not luck. Do I have to have Win CC flex to do this. I tried using Simatic ProSave but got a Device configure does not match the backup. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hi, If you have the backup file and the order number of both HMI devices is identical, then you should be able to use ProSave according to the FAQ below to restore it in the new panel: How do you backup/restore with a Windows-based panel? However, if this prerequisite is not fulfilled, then you will need the original WinCC Flexible project to replace the HMI model in the project hardware and transfer it to the new panel. |
