HiSeSa_eng To communicate your SCADA to 3 CPU through DP network, it can be done, you will only need to add 3 connections with the DP address of each CPU.

3 DP master can not connect one CP5613 card, i tried and see:(

Hi SeSa_eng What are these three Master module being used for ? If these are being used as seperate Profibus masters ( Communicating with any DP slaves ) then you cannot use them for linking with a common SCADA as these will be independent DP Master networks and cannot be connected together directly. If however the use of these Master modules is only for communication with SCADA on Profibus then as suggested by others before me, it is very much possible. You have not answered manmeet's question "Why are you not using the PN port for SCADA connection ? If you use the onboard PN ports of IM151-8 then you will neither require the MAster Modules, nor CP5611 Hope this helps Cheers Navnag |
