Dear CCE, Please have a look at this link: What connecting cables are there for connections between the operator panel and the different controllers? Have a look at 2. SIMATIC 500/505 point 2 (The cable named 6XV1 440-2K...) That's the right layout. Best regards, Wizard |

Hi I think the pin assignment is not right. More information about pin assignment in the following link (Part VI -> E): http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/1137086 http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/29034071 Maybe the manual of the OP27is helpful, too (Part V -> B): http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/1142800 Bye |

Hello, So, you already received answers about this message. If you sure that cable is OK, check the COM port of your PC. BTW in Prosave baud rate set to 19200. About to change this type of panel with other brand, I am afraid you should build completely new application. This backup of OP27, you could just use like emergency situation with return back to OP27 panel. And yes this panel is possible to connec with Siemens. (Operator dialogue terminals)Perhaps also this manual is helpful Magelis XBT GT, XBT GK about more info and necessaries accessaories to establishe connecion between S7 and XBT panel.
