RTD, and TC inputs need to connect to module designed for accepting RTD and TC inputs.  If you need to only use analog input (for space or other considerations), you can use signal conditioners to convert your temperature signal to an analog signal.

hello, i am also new in Siemens .I have Plc S7 1200 (1212c ac/dc/rly) my question is can i connect tamperature sensor without rtd module?  

if yes,than i connecting tamprature sensor on analog input points..but it"s not working..
