CASE OF statement in SCL not switching?

AutoGen_7150463 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi All, I am struggling to get the CASE OF function to work as supposed. I am mainly used to programming in C++, so SCL is a bit new for me. I want to switch between different cases based on a certain input (for example start button or manual control button). I use the following structure (simplified): CASE #State OF 0: #Output1 := TRUE; IF #input1 THEN #State := 1; END_IF; 1: #Output2 := TRUE; IF #input2 THEN #State := 2; END_IF; 2: #Output3 := TRUE; IF #input3 THEN #State := 0; END_IF; END_CASE; Indeed the case starts in '0:' and Output 1 becomes true. However, when i set input 1 to high the switching variable 'State' becomes 1 but the machine does not continue. How should i solve this? I've found various youtube videos that use this structure, likely that i am doing a minor thing wrong. Please see the attachment for the exact structure. Attachment SCL.PNG (281 Downloads)
