I'm new to Siemens and have only worked on Foxboro before. I am currently creating mockup designs of our HMI screens. I have made a template and have created a Status Display on it, which will show the current code location while the program is running.

I am just wondering if it is possible to create an integer tag and depending on the value, it will display a text in the Status Display rather than the Int value?

Example 0 = "Not Running"

Is this something I can do through the HMI, or is this something that would have to be coded instead?

Yes it is possible, what you have to do is to create a list of texts and associate it to the variables.
