Connected two HMI's in S7-1215C

LordRaiDeR Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	I need to connect two HMI screens in the same PLC. I have two switches because the PLC controls two machines, I have a balluff switch (BNI TCP-952-000-E029) where I connect an HMI screen through an ethernet cable and several vision cameras, in the second machine I have a switch siemens SCALANCE BX005 where I connect two cameras of vision and one HMI, the problem that I have is that when downloading the project to the plc, both HMI screens are altered and these alter some marks in my ladder programming, which causes the machines to break down. The question is how can I connect both switches so that the data is not altered between the network? The way I communicate both switches is by means of a crossober cable (I also tried to replace the cable with a normal ethernet cable, but it happened the same). It is important to mention that there is no problem of communication between the devices, I have sent pings to all the IP addresses and in no direction the packets are lost. In my program I have a function that is responsible for activating the messages on the screens, each HMI has its separate function to display the messages in the HMI, I have noticed that by disabling the function of the second HMI, everything works normal, the same happens If I disable the message function of the first HMI, I think there is some conflict between the network traffic and the packets arriving corrupt or with a little noise. I'm using TIA PORTAL V13 SP1, the boot HMI are KTP700 basic Regards.

Normally, when you download, then of course, data in a DB, etc can be reset and this will reflect on the HMI, but there should be no transmission errors. If the cpu is restarted, any connections will be reset. Also HMI connection will be closed/opened again, but there should still not be any network errors. Since you only have switches, it sounds like you have one network because the plc only have one port (one ip address)? Or do you have a CP card as well where you have one switch on one port and the other switch on the other port? Perhaps you can make a drawing of the topology? You mention that if you disable one HMI "everything works normal". What is normal and what is not normal? Is it possible that you have a closed loop in the network cabling between the switches?

LordRaiDeR Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hello, The PLC has two ethernet ports (Siemens S7-1215C DC/DC/DC), in one of them i have connected the balluff switch through a straight ethernet wire and the other port, i have connected the profinet module through the profinet wire. When I disable any HMI, the operation of the machines is perfect, but when I activate both HMIs, the program begins to have inconcistences, for example, some memories are activated alone which causes errors in the operation of the machine. The problem is in te comunication of the proyect, I do not know if I am doing the connection correctly or there is an error that causes the bits sent through the network to be altered.
