Hello, In the German forum part I developed a (makro-free)Tool "PolynomRegressionDynamisch_LOGO_V2.xls". It enables the calculation of polynom coefficients according to input of corresponding date pairs (at least 2 to at the most 4000) in a separate table (sheed "Daten AQ=f(Ax)"). For the regression itself the order of the polynomial and the value range for the b coefficient is to be defined (sheed "Regression"). Then calculated (by means of so-called EXCEL MATRIX functions) a compensation polynomial about<A[about|over]> the entire x value range and (after entspr echender of definition of xa and xe as well as the polynomial parameters) a further polynomial z1' (and/or his coefficients) for a x part range of values of xa to xe. With this polynomial z1' the total curve is in particular possible to you it to dismantle the total data area in sections (Part curves) um so for instance through two or more part curves, in each case with smaller (1 to 3) order, to approximate (and so for the LOGO! to tool usably and/or in programmable mode)! The numerical formats are predominant onto the needs the LOGO! adjusted. The example datas are a sin-curve (look the attachment)...Documents in german language, but you find a lot of information about polynom regression with MS-EXCEL over the internet. Examples to use this tool are the ASTO-clock and the calculation of the absolute moisture of the air from measured values of the temperature and the relative moisture of the air.
