Hi Walter, sorry, but i am not an expert of EIB..... I think it should be possible. But I do not do this, because it was a verry expensive solution to use the EIB communication module for each LOGO and connect every EIB CM each one with the others. (And i think for this price you can get PLCs with more funktions and communication ports...for example my favorite: PLC "XLt" from www.horner-apg.com) Perhaps you need only some digital I/O to connect your LOGOs. I think the best method it, to use a (additional) DM8 24 module (for sach LOGO!) with transistor outputs (this outputs can direct connected to LOGO inputs and are fast and without mechanics). In this case must the concept of the 4 LOGO!-programs are optinized to need only a minimum of I/O-signals to connect the LOGOs (--> e.g. to ON/OFF a program partOR a choice of a working modus for one or more LOGO(s)...). Withsome more Blocks, i think, it is possible to create a verry smal communication protocole: Use some defined nummbers of pulses to send more than one command with one signal line! This is possible witha block "counter" witha block"pulsgenerator" and a flexible definition (over pointer) of the counter parameters OR you use a set of blocks "Edge triggered wiping relay" with can make 1 to 9 pulses per trigger (--> max. 9 commands for one I/O-line). On the other side you can for example count the input pulses wits several counters so you get several commands... I hope this can help you to solve you connection between your 4 LOGOs? Best regards Betel |
