borntsauer Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi All, I am struggling to install the python modules mentioned in the topic. I am attempting to install using the pip3 install <module> command and it always fails. Any suggestions? It shows pretty much the same error for each of them: " Retrying (Retry(total=0, connect=None, read=None, redirect=None)) after connection broken by 'NewConnectionError('<pip._vendor.requests.packages.urllib3.connection.VerifiedHTTPSConnection object at 0xb63c5cac>: Failed to establish a new connection: [Errno -3] Temporary failure in name resolution',)': /simple/numpy/ Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement numpy (from versions: ) No matching distribution found for numpy" I have been able to confirm internet connection Thanks!

borntsauer Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	It's weird. I can ping the IP addresses of websites (ie LinkedIn) but it won't let me attempt the domain name. And the ping works just fine on the IP addresses. I am connected to my phone's hotspot. I've downloaded nodes from the wifi dongle I am using now. I have the example image 2.4.0 installed on the IOT2040.

borntsauer Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hmmm... its like the IOT2040 establishes internet connection, I can confirm by pinging google, and then when I go to install pandas it stops! I reboot, confirm ping to google, confirm resolv.conf, pip3 install pandas, then I get that same error. Every time it happens the exact same way... what can I be doing wrong?? I was able to install numpy after rebooting the device and confirming resolv.conf and a ping to google. The actual install ended up taking 4 hours. I'm not sure if I had just gotten lucky for this or what though.... because now none of the modules can be installed.
