Hi All, I'm wondering if anyone has recently had any experiance with dimming light circuits via a logo. I am looking to implement a soft start function as well as security/mood lighting (100%/ 30-50%) output. I was wondering about using a trans output unit driving solid state relays with a PWM signal but not sure if this would cause flickering?! I have seen this post: /tf/WW/en/Posts/4628 but the links are no longer valid. The 0-10v dimmers i have found all seem to be for fluorescent lamps or HID'sbut i need them tobe used for incandesant and 240v halogen lamps. Any advise would be greatly appreicated. Rich |

I would look at something like this: 0-10V interface. This is designed for Halogen lighting. I'm sure there similar interfaces for incandecent light. Osram site SS Relay may be too slow.if you take 50% of the sinewave starting at the zero crossing, you would have to be on for 4 ms for every 8 ms. Waffleman |
