Hi,

i am working in TIA portal V13 for rerfrigeration process for controlling compressor capacities i am using PID Compact. how can i hold my output constant at a particular condition  means for a particular condition i dont want to change my output and the same time my pid should reset and i want to reduce my output below the deadband so i require another pid for that please suggest me

 Hello,

You can try using PID in manual mode, in this case PID stops processing and a fixed value in output variables is issued.
