KOURTZAAR_HRA Posts: 48 Rating: (1)	Hello First of all in my system I have an CPU (416-2XK02-0AB0 v3.1) which is master in one profibus DP net which have two slaves.Yesterday i had problem with this and i decide to change this, with 416 2XN05-0AB0 v5.1.I went in HW configuration and replace the older with new.When i tried to download the HW presented an error [D225:Error in system data block],[SDB 200- error] and it was unposible to download. After i tried to download the new cpu without slaves and everything goes ok.When i tried to put an slave in profibus network i had the some problem.Maybe must delete the SDB and load new?How can i do this?I waiting for your suggestions. KOURTZAAR_HRA Posts: 48 Rating: (1)	I saw in new CPU the firmware is V5.1.0 but in HW component have only V5.1.I have already done HW update and for this cpu appear ALSO V5.2, V5.3.There is the possibility the problem to be firmware?

In addition to fritz value link, an information about SDB: The SDB will be generated from the HW-Konfig. With a new download of the HW-Konfig you will overwrite the old SDB with the new one. Extend the HW-Konfiguration step by step with the slaves and download will give you a good chance to find out, which parts may cause the problem

Hello again, it's always reccomended to go for the latest firmware (V5.3 in your case) which you'll find here: Firmware Updates for S7-416-CPUs Please note that it is easy to pick the wrong CPU in the list, make sure to read the part numbers carefully andto download the correct firmware. A firware update will also fully "reset" you CPU to factory default (i.e the online SDB will be gone) HWconfig V5.1 is by the way the one to use for firmware V5.1.0 (Siemens sometimes doesminor firmware upgrades such as V5.1.1 in which case you'll still use V5.1 from the HWconfig catalogue). P.S: Which Step7 version are you using?

KOURTZAAR_HRA Posts: 48 Rating: (1)	Hello IBN-Service i try to put one by one the slaves but when i put the first and i try to download i had the same problem.The same when i tried to put the second slave alone in the network.Only when i download the HW with profibus but without any slaves the system let done this. hello fritz i use simatic v5.3 sp 2.In the list i am sure i choise the cpu with correct code, this is the strange.If i had the correct memory card i will try to change the firmware but i dont have (i have one with 1 MB). Best regerds

Best regerds Have another look at the firmware link that I gave you, as of firmware V5.0 you can also do an online firmware update (no need for a flash Eprom card).

KOURTZAAR_HRA Posts: 48 Rating: (1)	I find the mistake finally.When i save and compile the new HW with new cpu the system allow me with any fault.But when i go to Netpro to save-compile and download the connections ,,, in Netpro there is nowhere the slaves! I try the same with simatic v5.4 sp 3 (which i find) and everything now is ok.I dont know why with v5.3 sp 2 had this problem .

mumbles Posts: 160 Rating: (16)	Have you tried to do a complete station compilation. Perhaps this would help This can be accessed from the PLC menu of Simatic Manager. I find this a very useful feature as it will compile my hardware config, compile all my blocks and finally compile all my connections. It has never failed me yet. Give it a go.
