Project upgradation from TIA v16 To TIA v18

Sometimes people find they have to compile / rebuild all for hardware and software prior to upgrading to a new portal version. Sometimes they find some of the hardware is not supported in V18. I have some older HMIs which top out at V15.1. Sometimes people have luck by splitting the PLC and connected components apart from any HMI into 2 separate projects and migrate them separately. After upgrading each part, they combine them back together in v18. AutoGen_1393546 I need your help.
