Hello, do you have somebody experience with siemens Memory card. 

I need to create in CPU1212 huge data log, 200000 records,  I think a memory in PLC is not enough, and I would like to solve it  with use Memory card 24MB, Do you think it will be working? (I am able to download program with only 1000 records in data log now)  I never worked with MC card in S7-1200 but I try it with MMC card to S7-300 and this card didn´t work. 

I know, I have to set it as program, but simatic MMC card is not possible to read in standart reader. 

I dont know if MC card to S7-1200 will be possible to read in standart card reader in my PC.

As far as I know you can read the 1200 MMC with standard reader.

Check manual for confirmation.

But anyway, you may not format the MMC with standrad reader!!

I never do it with 1200 but perhaps my example give you some idea...

Hello, my full problem is very simple. I need big data log, for example 50000 records. 

Its working well, but I need there to write 13 digits number, and I dont know  how.. 

Double integer is too small, String is good but it take me very much memory. because String take 255 Char, and 242 are empty.  

The solution on me ca be, small string 13 char is enought, or 13 digits integer, but I can not to find some solution.  

Array of Char is not good because it make 13 cells in Exel. 

My question is.. where does the 13 digit number come from?

Maybe the origin can be broken down into x2 DINT numbers.. kind of constructing your own LONG type (that is available in the S7-1500).

To me this number sounds very strange.

Hello, very big thanks for your help, I tryed to create 13 digits string, but I could not find a way in S7-1200. 

By the way, 13 ASCI numbers is from bar code scanner, (company use 13 digits code) 

I am very disapointed, because I wanted to suggest best simple solution, to write data to databese, without OPC server, use only Webserver. I can not use long string with 255 char, is not goot solution, it take very much capacity on memory card.
