WinCC and WinCC flexible are possible at least. As communication driver you take S7300/400, adjust your PG/PC interface for TCP/IP and it works.

Mr D Posts: 21 Rating: (4)	I have managed to establish comms between S7-1200 and WinCC Flexible HMI (using rack and slot at 0). However, I have been officially told that this is not system tested. Also, with WinCC, we have ran some tests and analysed the data between the PLC and WinCC. The S7-1200 simply rejects the request for data from WinCC. We have yet to get this functionality working! As far as I am aware, Siemens are looking into this but I have no date as when we can expect this function.

Despite of the “system test” comes only with WinCC flexible 2008 SP2, there is there a step by step of the communication setup. Note: in the FAQ is used Rack 0 and slot 1.
