I use S7-1500 with Profinet Module which use for METTLER TOLEDO weight scale. First , I installed the GSDML of profinet device then assign the device properties. After that , I assigned the device name by right click at device graphic and update list and assign name. I checked by status of Profinet module and it shown normal status of establish connection , the connection between module and scale , and check the weight value by RS-422 directly. Last I checked the PLC diagnostic on its display , it shown normal condition to run the system.

Present , I'm confused that which the SFC that I need to apply in OB1. I used SFC14 and SFC15 but they returned the "16#8090" value. If these blocks isn't appropriate , Which another SFC can I use? Last , What are wrong configuration? Please suggest to me.

Do you have selected a telegram in the HW configuration.
(It may be possible your device supports only on and this is automatically selected)

Please go to Devices&Network, double click on your device, make a screenshot and post it here.

The device should have some I/O addresses.
You can send data to the device by writing it to the periphery outputs, e.g. "PQW 256" and receive date by reading the periphery, e.g. PIB 256 .

• B= byte access
• W= word access
• D=double word access

In- and outputs are two different areas. PIW256 has not the value you write in PQW256.

SFC14 and SFC15 ( DPRD_DAT and DPWR_DAT) are used to read/write more the 4 Byte with consistency. in the S7-1200 and S7-1500 you have to tell them the HW-IW of your device.

I attach the picture which you asked. Now, I can exchange some data but it wrong value. I'm not sure between my configuration in TIA such as assign name , hw config or address , or mettler configuration. In picture below , do you have any suggest or need more information?

The configuration looks ok, you send 1 word and receive 6 words.

You wrote you get the wrong value. What do you expect?

In the manual of your module should be listed, what is in the 6 words you receive.

With %IB256 and %IB257 you see two independent Bytes.
When you change it to %IW256 you see it as WORD, like a INT
%ID256 is used for DWORD data, like a DINT or REAL

You can select several display option  (where actual "Bin" selected is)

The GSDML files for ACT350 Weight Transmitter have a BMP and are not labeled "mt-profinet"

I expect that the return value at %IB256 should be "2#0000 0111" and %IB257 should be "2#0000 0110" at least. So I'm not sure that I'm wrong to configure between the TIA Portal and the MT Module.

I used WKC204C not the ACT350 but in my understanding , they are the same configure.

• In the manual a toggle bit (Bit 1, RTB) is described. Does it follow the send toggle bit
  (Bit 1, QTB)?
• Did you follow chapter 6.7 of the manual Huggy_d1 linked?
• As I quickly read the chapter 6, it looks to me as if you often have to toggle some bits.

Maybe (and I think it is unlikely) the high and low bytes are exchanged. Try to send Byte 2 in QB256 and Byte1 in QB257. Read Byte 1 in IB257 and Byte 2 in IB256.
