Hello Bprashant; To collect information on the PLC (including status information) you should look at SFC 51. The following thread has graeat information and a link to an example program to cotlect status data using SFC 51and display it: /tf/WW/en/Posts/22091 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Hello Bprashant; Yes, you can create a connection in WinCC for each PLC, using a different address for each. See the WinCC online help for more information.
Yes you can, but you will have to use the Software Redundancy package for this, as you do not have S7-400H CPUs (hardware redundant). The Software Redundancy package uses Profibus, MPI or Ethernet as a link between the CPUs, depending on the reaction speed required and the amount of data to be exchanged. It is not a Hot-standyby system, with microsecond reaction times, and automatic updating of the DBs.. For that yo need S7-400H systems. For more information, download the Software Redundancy manual, and do a search for more postings here on the subject (use the search box at the right side of ths page). Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
