I have a machine with CPU 317 TF program Simatic S7-classic V5.5 and one with C-240 SIMOTION, scout program.

I have the sofwares Scout V4.3 and S7-Technology V4.3. You can work on both machines with the same simatic-PG without installing virtual machines.
I'm sorry for my English, I'm brazilian.

Split from Starter Drive ES S7 Technology SIMOTION Scout dependen.

I had read a review about it, but unfortunately the scout fails to show the CPU 317 TF after installing S7 Distributed safe and F-config even indicating still have simatic technology package cpu in the system info. And only with S7-Technology can not open the C-240 SIMOTION.

Scout 4.3.1.12, but I'm not able to send the complete information system. The Scout does not allow the copy and the page does not paste the image.

This is the configuration with Scout, I can not even see the blocks. But I need the Scout because I have 4 machines with C-240.

As the machines with C-240 are lower demand, I opted for the S7-Technology at that time, using this setting.

But every time I need to monitor any problems with the machines with C-240, I need to format the device. And after maintenance return to the previous setting.

     Sorry high time to answer, I had some difficulty in performing the download due to firewall of the company and after we had some holidays in Brazil.
     But I would like to inform you that worked perfectly for both the C-240 and for the TF 317, so the answer is only in order to thank.
