Hello All, I have a situation where I cannot get my AFE module to turn on. This was a running system and in production at the time it happened. Specifics: DC Inverter Simovert AFE (6SE7033-2EG80-Z) Attached is 2 DC Inverter SimovertMC P2 (6SE7031-8TF70-Z, and 6SE7033-7TG70-Z) Machine is a test bench, like a dyno. When I look at the drive monitor for the AFE, I have 3 alarms in r947. 1) Overcurrent in F2-1 2) UCE ph1 L1 3) TB/CB tlgr. 4) I also noticed there was an overtemperature alarm as well on the AFE. We checked the incoming power. It is steady at 480VAC phase to phase. 275VAC phase to ground. We checked the main fuses. All 3 are good. (NE1 fuses for incoming power.) We checked the 7 fuses on the AFE netmodule. (F1,F2,F3,F11, F12,F21,F22) All are good. We have 480VAC coming into fuses F1, F2, and F3 in the netmodule. We have nothing coming out of the AFE netmodule module. We have taken the fuses out of the AFE inverter to see if the alarms are still present in the AFE. They went away.We removed the motor leads to the 2 motors. Meggered them. All good. Still have the errors. We removed the DC fuses to check if the inverter itself was bad. Same errors. We looked and didn’t see anything that exploded. Like a capacitor, or IGBT, or other components. So now here is the weird part, after doing all of this and putting everything back together, the Temperature alarm went away. The overcurrent alarm went away. Now we have an undervoltage alarm. I can turn the drives on for about 2 seconds, then they shut off. I mean drive power on, not physically rotate the motors. As you can tell, I am a *** on Siemens drives. So please ask anything and assume I know nothing. I have attached some photos for your viewing pleasures. Thank you in advance all, and I hope someone can understand my issue.
