Soft comfort v8 finds logo8 but can not connect.

Your LOGO! is the current LOGO!8.3. For this LOGO! needs you mandatory the the LSC version 8.3.x. You can download for free the upgrade to V8.3.1. Download and installation instructions for LOGO! Soft Comfort V8.3 Service Pack 1But the download is export restricted and need a extended registration. Why do you have to log in and register for downloading export-restricted software and what data do you need for this? |

Now I got the message that it can take days before I am approved for extended registration. I am furious. I bought the damn product(dvd), is that not enough? I need it now. I traveld 16 hours to my customer and am under immence pressure when it comes to time. Is there any way I can get it faster?

No, unfortunately not. If you purchased the software on DVD, then you purchased an outdated version. Siemens cannot do anything about that. Do you want transfer a program to the LOGO! ? If so, then there is another option. For this you need a FAT-32 formatted MSD card. How can you program LOGO! V8.3 without LOGO! Soft Comfort V8.3? |

My problem is that I can't connect to the logo8. Now It´s gone all together. The connection. I reinstalled Soft Comfort and now nothing happens. I need to download from the logo, rewrite and then upload. My old laptop connected just fine with the logo without upgrades. I don´t understand.
