It is general no problem to install a x86 software on a x64 sysem, for PCS7 is needed to install exactly this version which is deliever with the SW (CD Package).

I installed PCS7 V8.2 include WinCC V7.4 and SQL on a Windows 10 Enterprise x64 system without any error.

So please check the the Windowsa Eventviewer and the logfiles to get exact informatiopn which error occurrs during the install and why the SQL can't be installed on your sytem!

Any Visual Studio installed on the PC or other Version of SQL Server?

i have done this today, cleAn Windows 10 Prof x64 and install WinCC V7.4 Client inkl. SQL Server Express 2014.

No error, no problem.

identical components like the first screen in this topic only one mor component was installed here "Visuasl Studio 2008 Shell...", so do yo have installed any other SW on the Sytem before you install WinCC V7.4.

ok i try a last one to ask:
Have you control the Windows event log for any error?
Have you check the install log Files for some exact Error messages for the SQL install?

I have ask this often in this topic but no response. Is not really possible to help you if the needed informations not selivered, so the problem also can't be solved.

For the SQL install the logfiles should be stored in the %TEMP% directory of the system.

no this is only the extract log, here no error reported.

There should be a File named "SqlSetup" which reports the installation of SQL.

I tried with search and by opening in windows explorer the folders you are mentioning but i can't find it.
