alvarolj23 Posts: 5 Rating: (1)	Dear All, I'm trying to connect via TCP IP one CPU 315-2 DP provided with a CP 343-1 Lean to a controller. The communication specifications of the controller are: Ethernet communication is implemented by TCP/IPprotocol Port number is 23542 The command is in hexadecimal format. For example: 0CH 01H 02H 03H I'm trying to implement that using FB63 "TSEND", FB64 "TRCV", FB65 "TCON" and FB66 "TDISCON" However I'm not able to establish the connection. Does anyone know if this application is possible to implement?

alvarolj23 Posts: 5 Rating: (1)	Thanks for your answer Kaulquappe, I saw in the specifications for open TCP/IP communication via ethernet, that it is also possible to use TCON, TSEND, TRCV for connection trough CP modules. In the manual it is said that configuring: Byte 6: local_device_id with B#16#00 means communication via CP. Could you explain me then, the difference between using TSEND, TRCV or AG_SEND, AG_RECV? Over the internal interface(without CP) you need a programmed connection. Therefore you need to use the T-blocks (T_CON, T_SEND, T_RCV) T_CON is establishing a connection and the other blocks are sending and receiving over this connection. This is called the Open User Communication(OUC). There is also a application sample for this: How do you program the communication blocks FB63 "TSEND", FB64 "TRCV", FB65 "TCON" and FB66 "TDISCON" in order to use the TCP protocol for data exchange by means of the integrated PROFINET interface of an S7-300/S7-400 CPU? hope this helps, regards,

alvarolj23 Posts: 5 Rating: (1)	Hello again, I started to use AG_SEND and AG_RECV. When configuring the NetPro how should I configure my third party controller? I found quite useful information in the following link. However, they use there two S7 devices, one for sending and the other for receiving. In my application it's just one PLC which is used for both sending and receiving commands to a controller. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/8707570 How could I adapt the instructions for my convenience??
