TIA Portal and PLCSIM on virtual machine

StamGuy Experienced Member Joined: 3/20/2017 Last visit: 5/20/2025 Posts: 144 Rating: (2)	I installed TIA Portal V15.1 and PLCSIM V15 on a virtual machine. The machine has 16GB memory and 50GB storage running windows 10 professional. The virtual machine is: VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi) 6.7 When I try to start the simulation, the CPU usage jumps to 100% and the machine freezes. All the machine settings are according to the specification here: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ve/en/view/109758795 What can be the problem?
