Hello, i already have a topic about the sentron library Sentron question My Software Tia Portal V16 Update 6 My project CPU15163pn 6ES7 516-3AN01-0AB0 Firmware 2.9.4 Project hardware 2.8 Demo project CPU15163pn 6ES7 516-3AN01-0AB0 V2.6 I have both projects open, when i compile the demo no errors. See the screenshot. In my project i can not change it to version V2.1 . So why ? Where can this be changed. |

Change the De/Serialize versions from 1.2 to 2.1 in your project. Compile, download, and test. It is often a good idea to click the "upgrade all" button at the top of the very top of the instruction pane - to the right of the instruction search box. However, it is NOT a good idea to do that to a running and fully functional system. During development of a major upgrade or redesign or original design is the time to click that button and answer YES to the prompt asking if you really want to update all the instruction versions to the latest supported by your portal version and your plc's firmware.
