Hello, MM4 is an old drive from Siemens which has powerful features and a lot of parameters as well.SINAMICS is also a powerful drive and there are cosiderable set of parameters are common between both MM4 & SINAMICS which is sumarized here: What are the differences between the parameters of the MICROMASTER 4 and those of the SINAMICS G120? So, if you would like to use SINAMICS at the first time, you do not have to study the SINAMICS parameters from scratch. Just know what's new and how to use new features. Hope this helps.
