WinCC V7 SP2 HF5 on Windows XP with 2 widescreen monitors (1680x1050). My WinCC pictures are configured at the same resolution. On Windows level, Extended Desktop display mode is enabled. When starting WinCC RT with fullscreen option enabled, monitor 1 contains my start.pdl (1680x1050) but due to the fullscreen option, RT is extended as a gray screen on monitor 2. Now I can start Excel and maximize it on monitor 2 but it disappears behind the gray WinCC screen on monitor 2 each time when working on the WinCC on monitor 1. I also tried using maximize instead of fullscreen in the startup option of WinCC RT but then the Title bar is also activated and the WinCC picture is shifted to the bottom where a parts is outside the screen area. This is also not an option. I need WinCC fullscreen on monitor 1 only without any title bar, leaving monitor 2 free for any other application fullscreen on monitor 2. Any suggestions please on how to get this setup? Thanks in advance. |

Hey Ammy, Thanks for replying, not sure what you mean with Extended Display, it's Turned off in my settings (see attachment) but I can't get WinCC runtime fullscreen on only 1 monitor like I described above? Any help is welcome. |

Thanks, this simple setting change did the trick. One thing to check, if Runtime was activated before and it wasn't maximized, it will remember its last position on the screen. |
