I am quite new to Wincc and currently using Wincc Runtime V7.4 +SP1. So is there a C or VB script to insert new data into my user archive? My archive uses 4 columns and my project requires to insert values from internal tags into the user archive.Thanks in advance.

I tried out the example provided and the code does not work correctly. It has alot of errors when compiling. As for the sample project, I cannot open it in Wincc as it can only be opened in Wincc v6 but it cannot migrate to Wincc v7.

I am currently able to insert data into my user archive but when I tried to use VBS to set my user archive ID and Job tags to be -1 and 6 respectively using a button press, both my ID and Job tags are both set to -1. What is the error?

As for that part I can understand but my issue is that I cannot create new entries with my ID set as -1 when I use a button. If I use two I/O fields to input the ID and Job tags as -1 and +6, I can insert a new record into the archive. The button is to just add new records into the archive.
