i have siemens s7 1200 CPU and i want to make my desktop pc act as HMI. i want to use WINCC RUNTIME feature of TIA Portal in which no need of any HMI. just make project in your desktop PC and can control entire machine by using ethernet communication. can anybody guide me or send any sample link for this. i also need library files. i have a projet of COAL BOILER PLANT AUTOMATION. so your help is highly appreciated

I am waiting. I searched on internet for this solution. I find a video for SIMATIC IPC WICC RUNTIME ADVANCED PC AS HMI. i create project for cpu 1214 and make a simple logic then i go to add device then pc system then i add IE general then i add wincc runtime advanced . I set plc ip as 192.168.0.1 and IE general ethernet address is 192.168.0.2 same aa my laptop address then i make simple screen a button M0.0 and output Q0.0. Then compile no error then i start RUNTIME my screen open but it is not coomunicating with my plc. When i pressed any button no action i can online plc and change status by plc online mode. My question ia that i am using a laptop with ip addrss is 192.168.0.2 .. where i am wrong. Why runtime advance is not working with my plc. Help me pls
