I am using Stepper Online's CLT57T V4.1 stepper drive ( https://www.omc-stepperonline.com/en-au/closed-loop-stepper-driver-v4-1-0-8-0a-24-48vdc-for-nema-17-23-24-stepper-motor-cl57t-v41 ) with 23HS45-4204D-E1000 stepper motor ( https://www.omc-stepperonline.com/en-au/nema-23-closed-loop-stepper-motor-3-0nm-424oz-in-encoder-1000ppr-4000cpr-23hs45-4204d-e1000 ) and 1215C PLC + TP700. For now there is no control strategy, I am just getting familiar with motor control. I used as base for my program an example that I found on youtube. Commands I'm testing manually using TP700. The only way to increase max velocity is to decrease mechanics/Pulses per motor revolution below 6400 (with 6400 setting stepper runs only if max velocity is below 1400 degree/s or 781 mm/s). CLT57T is set to 6400 pulses/rev, motor runs only if max velocity is less than 1400 degrees/s. CTL supports up to 51200 pul/rev, does it change anything? I have noticed that in TIA axis configuration velocity could be boosted only if Mechanics/Pulses per motor revolution setting is decreased. Is it possible/of any use to connect stepper's encoder to PLC? I suppose that it is TTL encoder since it is powered with 5V DC? I have TTL to HTL encoder converter, I guess it could be used instead of S7-1200 module for TTL encoders. I saw that encoder is present for axis control with 1500 CPU, but there isn't one for 1200 PLC series. In pdf attached you'll find screens of my program and settings.
