Calm_down Posts: 324 Rating: (30)	Hi Ajing, doesn't the CP 1434 support besides the TF Protocol also the Send Receive Interface??? I am not sure, but if so you can use the S5 Channel in WinCC to communicate. Maybe someone from the WinCC guys can tell you so. Best regards Calm_down.

RonaldNijssen Advanced Member Joined: 1/21/2008 Last visit: 7/12/2024 Posts: 39 Rating: (14)	SIMATIC 505 (555 and 545) can be equipped with two types of CP1434 One is TCP/IP and the other ISO / TF For the latter you require a CP1613 in the PC For the first you require a driver in the PC, this driver is part of WinCC The communication between a CP1613 and a CP1434TF (ISO/TF) module is by creating jobs at the CP1434TF side and create jobs at the CP1613 side. Basically, at the CP1613 side you must do the same as you would do with a S5 PLC With TCP/IP things are easier, as this module offered an OPC server and WinCC has a channel that will communicate instantaneously Please let me know if this is still an issue Ronald Nijssen
