Read Diagnostic Data with CP443

Ravi Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	With regard to diagnostic information being read from CP 443 I have the following questions: 1. There is an input address assigned to the module in hardware configuration. What is that used for. 2. In case of using SFC 51 "RDSYSST" with SSL-ID W#16#00B3 what will be its logical base address. 3. Where can I find a detailed description of the data record thus read. On parameter IOID you have to givethe information whether it is an input or an output address. 2. Ravi Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi Tomcat, Thanks for the information. 1.a Is the structure of diagnostic data for 443 listed somewhere (as it is for IM 153 in Section 6.4 of manual "Distributed I/O Device ET200M" Edition 10/2002). 1.b For 443 module the only address is an input address (in address tab of module properties). So will the module be treated as an peripheral input module with IOID as B#16#54. 2. Is logical base address the one mentioned in point 1.b above. 3. The SSL description is ok. But what I need is the structure mentioned in point 1.a above. Also for any other such module, where can one generally find the information. Thanks again Ravi

Tomcat Posts: 433 Rating: (48)	Hi Ravi, I fear I have misunderstood your problem. I thougt that you want to read diagnosis of slaves and you have a CP443 in your configuration. You want to read the diagnosis of CP443-1 or CP443-5, right? Unfortunately it is not possible to read the diagnosis of this CP with SFCs and SSLs. The diagnosis of CP443 you can only read with NCM diagnosis. Tomcat

Ravi Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi Tomcat, Thanks for all the info. I am using CP443-1. Is there any way by which I can show the status and diagnostics of CP443-1 on HMI. Would you be kind enough to answer the issues raised in my previous post w.r.t. any module viz. IM153-2, SM (DI, DO, AI, AO), SM 338 etc. I have been going through the manuals but as yet I have not tried it out. Thanks again Ravi

Tomcat Posts: 433 Rating: (48)	Hi Ravi, normally it is not possible to read the diagnosis of CP443-1 in WinCC. The only way to read the diagnosis is NCM. Perhaps NCM can execute in WinCC. But it is possible only, when NCM is installed on the PC. And this is no solution in reality (client etc.). Sorry.
