On Windows 10 I had to run TIA Portal as administrator to workaround this problem |

this is because you have Win10 built version 1703 (Creators update. This version is not supported by Step7 basic V14 SP1. have a look to the SW-requirements in the readme-file. chapter 2.3.3 You can only run it as admin. regards, AttachmentV14_SP1_Basic_Install_enUS.pdf (1198 Downloads) |

Windows 10 Build 1803 is not supported, yet: SIMATIC STEP 7 Basic (TIA Portal). You have to use Build 1703. Regards, Frink |
