I must project profibus network between - C7 621 with communication procesor CP 342-5 (i don't now it's possible? becouse i can't copy for example OB 82 or SFC 14 and 15 from step 7 to cpu-hardware) I have V-memory area in my program but i can't download it to CPU. and - S7-200 network with CP 277 communication procesor In my software i have all .gsd file and i have new step7 5.3 version and in my notebook CP 5511 PCMCIA card. It's possible? Can I connect this hardware in profibus network? Have You got a ready-made model of that network? In my newtork i wont add ET200 M with digital I/O communication procesor but not in this moment. maciek

But I can give you some informations about the CP342-5. Basically the CP342-5 is working in a C7-Station. It is allowed to use the CP. I have no informations about the C7 621 you want to use. And I have never done it with a C7. For the communication between the CPU and the CP special FCs are needed. You will find them within the libary "SIMATIC NET" You don't need OB 82 and or SFC 14/15. The CP 342-5 as DP-Master is not able to communicate via PROFIBUS DPV1. Sorry, I don't have informations about the EM277. So I can't say wether it is an DPV0 or an DPV1 Slave. If the EM277 is a DPV1 Slave the configuration is a little bit difficulter. But it should be possible too. Please post again if you need more informations. Best regards Sabine
