znarf1970 Regular Member Joined: 4/4/2011 Last visit: 5/15/2025 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Dear Expert, Good day, I having problem of setting the variable torque limit P605 with 6RA70 after replacing the 6RA24. The parameter for 6RA24 are P605=249(Output fo adder1), P650=(index0=1,index1=5) ,P713=0x3. I tried to adopt this parameter to 6RA70 P605=K9120(Output for adder1), U120=(index001=fixed value100%, index002=K0015), but when i start the drive it doesn't rotate, it seems that the P605 value is not valid or at 0% torque setpoint. The application of the drive is for puller of extrusion machine, when running at pulling(positive direction) the drive wiil run at reduced torque(current controlled) depends on the input signal of analog input 1 (0-10 volts) it reduces the torque setting of P605.But when running at negative direction the torque setting of P605 is 100%, analog input1 at 0 volts. Main setpoint is at 50%. Please advice Thanks and regards

Hello. Adder that you are using is from option software blocks S00. Check that S00 option is enabled in your drive, look at parameter n978. If S00 is not enabled, then adder is not working, and you may have 0% torque setpoint (check this in K0143 and K0141 or in r021, function diagram sheet G160).

KSN Platinum Expert Joined: 8/25/2006 Last visit: 9/12/2025 Posts: 2218 Rating: (282)	You may set normalization of analog input 1 in P711= -100% and offset for it in P712=100%. Look in the manual, function diagram sheet G113. Then use P605=K0015.

Theres a variation of torque/current due to varrying of analog input to the drive. There have two analog output from the drive AO14=K115,AO16=K149 that are connected to analog input of the PLC as a feedback. I attached the configure software for 6RA24(original drive) and 6RA70(replacement drive) as well. Maybe it can help to pinpoint the cause of the problem.
