for connected to the sinumerik 805 with software PCIN version 4.7 , i need seting data for connected with PCIN and nr port on the sinumerik 805 (2nd rs232) and diagram foe cable.

We have a Sinumerik 805 6FC4100-1AA00-Z (Software Version 4.6) it is the controller for a Hyundai HiT-8G Lathe.

We are working on connecting it up to a PC to transfer programs back and forth.

When trying to set the RS-232 interface options (Data Rate, Parity, etc.) nothing happens on the screen, the spots on the screen which display the current settings are all blank. I was wondering if these settings would be displayed even if a serial cable isn't connected.
