Error of communication between S7-200 and PC

Draxelmaier Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	Hello members I have an automat S7-200 CPU 214, I tried to establish the communication between this automat and the PC with a cable PC/PPI but always there is an error "Going beyond of the time for the communication". I tested all the configurations with all the ports of my PC (COM1, COM2...) not without any positive result. I tested the various positions of multiple switch of the cable although I am sure that the configuration is good. Really I did not find any solution with this problem. Prayer for all which with an idea to help me... It is very urgent (Factor time)

Or is it a new one? When it's a new one the baudrate should be 19k2. When it's already programmed, the baudrate can be changed. It even can be 187,5 kb, that would be very bad. Because this baudrate cann't be used with PC/PPI cable. You should have a CP-card. Best regards, Wizard

I use the COM1 of my PC whose flow is 9.6Kbps checked in the parameters of my system. I use software STEP7 Micro/Win version 4.0 My automat St of the type S7-200 CPU 214. I describe you the stages of my configuration in the images attached with this message. Concerning the position of the switches of cable is as follows going from 1 to 8: 01000000. Another thing also, during the operation of communication schematized by the figure Step6, Led PPI is lit and Led Rx flickers quickly. Thank you still... The defect was on the level of the power supply of the automat, because I do not pay attention to the level of the alimentation which is of 230 VAC. But I fed the input only of 24VDC. Also I do not have pay attention to the diode SF (Failure System) which is lit. Thank you my friends for your assistance. I am in your your service.
