How can I connect SIMATIC TI505 PLC with 505-CP2572 card? How can I set up IP and network parameter for the card ? What tools will be used to configure it ? Please give me some guideance Thank you ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello knightchi; You could start with the CP 2572 manual, it should give you much information on the installation, configuration and programming of the 505 Ethernet CP, using Tisoft (DOS-based) or some of its modern (Windows-based) successors, such as 505-Workshop. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/17519012 Section 2.4 of the CP 2572 manual give an example of the code required to connect a CP 2572 (Siemens 505) and a CP 343-1 (Siemens S7-300) over TCP/IP. Study this section attentively when you think you are ready to use the CP 2572 configuration and command word structure.
