I have a problem with industrial edge, every time I try to restart, shutdown the PC where is running the image win Vmware, the industrial edge die.

There is an error that says "The page doesn't respond". 

The options are Wait or Exit.

I have been waiting but the virtual machine shut down  after a while.

I need help, because, very time the pc gets shutdown or restart, I have to reinstall the do the ondoarding again and again...

How did you setup the IEM? DNS or IP based (DHCP or STATIC IP)?

The error is at the attachment.

I try to connect with chrome to the IP address.

I setup the IEM IP based, with DHCP, I create a NAT network to connect the IEM.

And in the option during the installation that says Obtain hostname with DHCP I choose no.

Here I read some post that is similar I think. similar error.

Hi again, I had also some troubles when I configured the IEM with a NAT network. In my case I was not able to find the root cause and I had to reinstall it with Bridge network cofinguration. 

Did you configure a  working NTP server during the installation?

Hello and thanks, I will try to configure the VM with a bridge network.

Maybe this is the solution.

With the NTP I configured the one that's on the guide: 0.pool.ntp.org and 1.pool.ntp.org

I am using the same NTP server adrresses and I have no issues till now. 

Let us know if it works after changing the network settings.

To shutdown the IEM are you using the "Cluster Shutdown" button? I had the same problem because I shut down the IEM using the controls of VMware
