KNX Gamma Wave

grudziu Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm trying to make a project based on KNX/EIB Siemens Gamma Wave. It is existing house, so KNX.RF is the best solution. I have a question about UP 560 (5wg3 560-2ab01) - we can connect to this device UP 221 and UP 222. How about other knx pushbuttons (like UP 221E with status LED 5WG1 221-2EB11 or UP 222E).

I guess you probably misunderstood how to link the pushbuttons to the actuator function of ther UP 560, because normally it is easy to establish the local operation. On this device you have 3 functions: 2x sensor (the two rockers of the button) and the actuator (the relay). So when linking both internally you must slide both switches up for the programming mode. Did you try this already ? Did youread the technical manual of the device? The clue is, that the sequence matters: First K3, then K1. If you do it vice versa, it won't work. I didn't try to configrue the siemens devices, because i'm still on the planning stage :) I've order some siemens gamma wave devices just for tests two days ago (still waiting for deliver), to configure it from ETS, and now I'm trying to select devices for my customer. I saw the ETS application for the UP140+UP560, and there are two sensors and one acturator channel. If I use UP 222E (with LED) the status LED will light up when the "1" telegram is send? There aren't any LED-status-configuration fields in ETS. While having 4 keys (two upper, two lower) I guess that left one is "on" telegram, right one is "off" telegram. Which LED will light up - left,right? I'll try to contact your hot line support :-)
